AFDD

Arc Fault Detection Device (AFDD), also known as an Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI), is an advanced safety device designed to detect dangerous arc faults that standard circuit breakers cannot recognize. These arc faults, often caused by damaged wires, loose connections, or aging insulation, are one of the leading causes of electrical fires in homes and buildings.

Timelec’s arc fault detection devices actively monitor electrical circuits and instantly disconnect power when abnormal arcing is detected, preventing ignition before it can lead to fire. Unlike traditional protection devices such as MCBs or RCDs, AFDDs are specifically engineered to sense high-frequency arc signatures that indicate a real threat.

Timelec AFDD support type A, type AC, could widely used in AC circuit and DC(direct current), rating current support 25A, 40A, tripping curve B and C curve are available.
